The Collins Institute is pleased to invite you to our celebration of the centenary of women’s suffrage in Ireland. On February 6, 1918, women in Ireland got to play their role in the democratic process, gaining the right to vote for the first time.

We are celebrating the anniversary of that milestone with a conversation on how women’s role in politics, business, and society has evolved since 1918, in Ireland and across Europe.

Speakers will include:

Her Excellency, Mrs. Deike Potzel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ireland

Her Excellency, Mrs. Kristi Karelsohn, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Ireland

Ms. Sinead McCoole, author, historian
